Standing alone on a secluded headland, with views and direct access to a sandy beach below, this cosy old holiday cottage has been sympathetically renovated retaining all of its considerable charm and character. It lies within the Loch Hyne Special Area of Conservation, and has its own natural garden, with lovely coastal walks from the doorstep. Lough Hyne, 4 miles, is an inland sea lake with marine nature reserve and forest walks. There are delightful coastal villages along this section of the Wild Atlantic Way, such as Baltimore, Castletownshend, Union Hall and Glandore, where you will have numerous opportunities to take part in watersports. From Baltimore, you can get ferries to Sherkin and Cape Clear Islands, or take a trip to Fastnet Rock. Skibbereen is just under 4 miles away and has a very good choice of pubs, restaurants and shops, along with an 18-hole golf course, heritage centre and farmers’ country markets on Friday and Saturday. Shop and restaurant 3¾ miles, pub 2 miles.

Approximate distance to Cork Airport is 95 km.
