Excellent accommodation. Fantastic views from the balcony of local wild life. Small downside was surround by fields, but not able to go into them with a dog.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review - whilst the property is surrounded by arable farmland, a network of public footpaths and Stansted Forest can be accessed easily by foot or car approximately 1/2 mile away. Maps and guide books are available for guests to borrow during their stay.

perfect for a couple , lovely parks and walks nearby , we had 2 dogs with us , the only issue is no garden although the owners were happy for the dogs to go and do their business on a bit of their garden it would have been nice to let them out to run around a bit more. however we took them to the harbour and on long country walks so they were happy.

We found the barn to be accommodating and the owners to be also.however the pet friendly aspect left a lot to be desired.the veranda which was our only outside free space was not clean, albeit it was early in the season.we did not feel that it was pet friendly as I explained to the owners.this left us with no alternative but to leave early.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Whilst the barn is not advertised with outdoor space apart from the balcony. The South Downs National Park and Stansted Forest surround the property. We also offer an area of our garden for our “doggy guests” to carry out their business. We were unaware there was an issue with the balcony and would have attended to this, if made aware. We achieve high grades and awards and many of our guests and their pets return year after year.
