There are 10 acres of beautiful, ancient woodland, complete with a stream winding its way through the land, plus an abundance of wildlife, ponds and granite boulders. A rich variety of plants and woodland flowers offer an idyllic haven for the resident wildlife. This is a brilliant area for walking, relaxing and star gazing as there is no light pollution. Nearby, a golf club and horse riding over Dartmoor are available. Being in the midst of Dartmoor, there are many superb walks, reservoirs, heather-clad tors and Dartmoor ponies. There are many places of interest for the whole family. If you are a keen walker, the Teign Valley is well known for its delightful woodland footpaths.
