Situated in one of the most beautiful and undiscovered areas of Britain, this superb house exudes exceptional charm and character, boasting spacious rooms, wood-burning stove and open fires. South-facing, and with a sheltered veranda, this detached holiday property is set in an estate with access to 2500 acres of walking country and 4 miles of river with salmon, trout and grayling fishing by arrangement. It lies just 50 yards from an all-weather tennis court (built 2003, use by arrangement). Fields and stabling area also available by arrangement for ponies, with trekking to be enjoyed in the surrounding countryside. A high ropes course and paintballing site set in stunning forest is within ½ mile. Crogen Coach House is in an ideal location for enjoying the beautiful Welsh countryside, and also for visiting the English towns of Chester and Shrewsbury - both of which offer historical days out. The quaint market town of Corwen lies just 8 miles from the typical Welsh town of Llangollen which hosts the International Music Eisteddfod each July. This famous folk festival provides an array of music, dance and poetry for all ages. Llangollen is also popular throughout the rest of the year, with white water rafting available and numerous historical sites and attractions to visit. Snowdonia National Park is easily accessible and well worth a visit with its breathtaking mountains offering beautiful views and scenery. For the more adventurous, Bala Lake (5 miles), the largest natural lake in Wales, is a major centre for many watersports including sailing, windsurfing and white water rafting. For lovers of good food, there are two gastronomic hotels of note just 1½ miles away. Shop 1¾ miles, two pubs 1½ miles.
