Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the garden, 220 yards away. Due to the location of this property, a car is essential.

This superbly central location gives speedy access to Scotland’s historic cities, Edinburgh and Glasgow, either by train or car, and yet there is perfect peace at Croft View. This first floor contemporary conversion is situated within the owner’s 4-acre grounds, who live nearby. It offers lovely walks from the door and a stunning outlook from the summerhouse and hot tub over rolling lawns and beautifully maintained lake. The open plan living space is light and bright with everything required for a restful holiday provided, including a comfortable sofa, well-organised kitchen and an excellent double bed.
There are many activities to choose from nearby. Why not go to see the awesome Kelpies and the superbly engineered Falkirk Wheel, taking a boat trip on the canal between the two. Linlithgow, 7 miles, is a fascinating historic town where Mary Queen of Scots was born. South Queensferry has a great array of good pubs and restaurants and offers boat trips around the islands in the Firth of Forth and views of the three bridges. Head north towards Stirling and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park for iconic highland scenery and excellent hill walking. There are eight golf courses within 15 minutes and lovely country parks at Beecraigs and Polkemmet, or for some retail therapy visit the designer outlet in Livingston. Shop 2 miles, pub 3½ miles and restaurant 7 miles.

    The owners were very helpful friendly Only a suggestion would be to swap the hot tub & gazebo Fabulous location for travelling to both Edinburgh & Glasgow
