There is a well-equipped kitchen area with an adjoining dining space, should you wish to eat in, but with so many excellent restaurants close by, you may want to take advantage of these and leave the cooking for another time. A comfortable double bed awaits you at the end of the day for a good night’s sleep, and you can wake up to a hot, steaming walk-in shower and warm underfloor heating to start you day.
The terraced accommodation is set within the grounds of Whoop Hall, and all guests enjoy full, complimentary use of the state-of-the-art leisure facilities, including 18-metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa and fully equipped fitness studio (off peak membership, can be used 9.30am-5pm).
Located on the fringes of Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire, you will be spoilt for choice for places to visit. The historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is a gentle walk or short drive away, where there is an abundance of shops, cafés and, of course, the famous beauty spot of Devil’s Bridge. Further afield you have the unspoilt countryside of the Lune Valley, the imposing fells and lakes of Cumbria and the stunning waterfalls and caves of Ingleton in North Yorkshire. Beach 17½ miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
