Immerse yourself in the stunning views from Cobden View, looking across Sabden Valley, towards Pendle Hill. This detached cottage is set on the owner’s working farm (Cobden Farm), in the Forest of Bowland (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). All on one level, Cobden View offers well presented and comfortable accommodation, ideal for couples and families wanting to explore the area. Walkers and cyclists are particularly well catered for, with many walks available right from the doorstep. Other activities within a few miles include horse riding and golf. Pendle also has its own dry ski slopes. Sabden village, less than a mile away, has two general stores/off licences/post office and a delicatessen, as well as two pubs, one of which serves excellent food. The village also has a children’s playground and big play area. A wider range of amenities can be found in Clitheroe, with its impressive ancient castle, or Whalley, with its historic abbey. Both offer individual shops and good quality restaurants, and are within a 10-minute drive. The market towns of Settle and Skipton, the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and North West Coast are within easy driving distance. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
