Hole in the Wall takes it’s name from one of York’s many Snickleways and is one of five stunning apartments found within the Old Hotel overlooking Clifton Green and just a short stroll from York City centre. This property has been re designed and all the apartments offer a beautiful welcome with excellent interior design throughout. They can be booked together for a large family or group of friends wishing to relax and enjoy a break in this most historic of cities. Hole in the Wall is a duplex apartment and offers contemporary open plan living space. The kitchen has everything you could need to enjoy your stay and no expense has been spared; the granite work tops and the dining table provides ample seating for two. The living area sits to one side and has a stylish sofa and a large flatscreen Smart TV. The comfortable double bedroom is accessed by a set of designer step ladders leading up from the ground floor and the accommodation is completed with a house shower room.

Step outside and York city centre is just a 10-minute walk away. Enter through Bootham Bar, one of York’s historic gated entrances and you will soon find yourself in the main plaza in front of the majestic York Minster. The Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum, York Chocolate Story and York Castle Museum are also close by. When you get tired of wandering the cobbled streets take an hour to rest in one of York’s beautiful city centre parks; the Museum Gardens and Rowntree Park sit alongside the River Ouse and will provide a quiet interlude to your city break.

For those that enjoy heights why not take a bird’s eye view of medieval York from the top of York Minster or traverse the narrow staircases inside Cliffords Tower. Spend a day at York Races, walk the city walls, shop for hours, enjoy the many attractions, take a boat ride along the river or enjoy the vibrant night lift. Hole in the Wall really is a stunning holiday home offering guest the perfect retreat to return to after a long day exploring the city.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason.
