You will find the Jorvik Viking Centre, Castle Museum and National Railway Museum nestled amongst the history of this famous city. Grab a picnic and take time to relax in one of Yorks beautiful parks; the Museum Gardens and Rowntree Park sit alongside the River Ouse and will provide a quiet interlude to your city break. For those that enjoy heights, why not take a birds-eye view from the top of York Minster, or traverse the narrow staircases inside Cliffords Tower?
