Striking a sublime mix of coastal location with home comforts, each of the exquisite cottages boasts an individual interior design that beautifully complements their wonderful position. Headlands House features a spacious living room with patio doors leading out onto the garden which is ideal for some al fresco dining. From the edge of your doorstep an abundance of activities await discovery. Take advantage of the indoor heated swimming pool, well-equipped gym, 9-hole golf course, tennis court and children’s play area. For the more adventurous, why not take part in the numerous watersports on offer including kayaking, paddle boarding or even an exhilarating sea trip safari around the magical island of Caldey, cruising close to rare sea birds, grey seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin.

Meandering past the resort is the iconic Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where outstanding walks, magnificent scenery and sandy beaches can be found. Here you’ll discover the bustling coastal resort of Tenby encased within medieval walls and home to a plethora of highly acclaimed restaurants, traditional Welsh pubs, eclectic gift shops and wonderful beaches. A visit to the area would not be complete without a trip to the county’s premier theme parks including Heatherton, Oakwood and Folly Farm, home to its very own pride of lions and tower of giraffes. You will not be disappointed.

Whether you choose a short break or a longer stay, this delightful holiday resort will be waiting for you when you return from your days out exploring. Kick off your boots, pour a glass of wine and sit back and relax as you indulge in your Welsh adventure. Beach 2 miles. Shop 1 mile.

The cottage on a small complex was well situated overlooking Lydstep Beach. Weather wasn't brilliant but OK and being where it is was, extremely blustery. Unfortunately, the onsite restaurant was unavailable as the chef had left and other onsite amenities had to be booked in advance and weren't always available when wanted. The indoor pool is small and 7 adults filled it! The onsite golf course was a welcome addition although the fairways and greens needed cutting (lost 7 balls in total in the rough/hedges); the course itself was quite challenging. The upstairs bathroom other than the toilet, could not be used as water cascaded down the lounge wall every time someone had a shower, reported to reception twice but unfortunately not fixed during our stay. Other than a few items my wife would have liked in the kitchen, such as a whisk and cheese grater, the cottage was overall very good, and yes, we would book it again. The Lydstep Tavern, just around the corner, serves very good food at reasonable prices; don't eat at the site next door.
