First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Landing area: With single sofa bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements).

Electric panel heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Wood-fuelled hot tub (private). Garage with freezer and storage for bikes and equipment. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a well. There is a gated, fenced stream in the garden.

Quietly tucked away just on the outskirts of the quaint Victorian town of Llanfair Caereinion, which is home to the 8-mile long Llanfair light steam railway, this detached cottage is ideal for couples wishing for a romantic getaway. The characterful cottage has plenty of warmth and charm, yet has all modern facilities including its own private and secluded, wood fuelled, chemical-free hot tub in the garden, which offers a natural bathing experience. A path leads from the cottage through fields to the owners’ working beef and sheep farm where guests can enjoy country walks. A large field with river frontage offers fishing rights in the River Banwy. Conveniently located near to the borders of Shropshire and north Wales, with scenic routes to every area, guests will find more than enough to keep them occupied no matter what their interests. Nearby attractions include Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and Bala Lake. Visit Snowdonia, where guests can enjoy mountain biking, Zipworld, Bounce Below, white water rafting and gorge walking to name but a few activities. Quad trekking is available near Welshpool, 10 miles, and paintballing, go karting, Chirk Castle and Attingham Park are around a 40-minute drive. The beautiful Cambrian coastline can be reached in around 45 minutes. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    This our 4th stay at this lovely little cottage. It is a quiet location surrounded by trees and wildlife. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need for a peaceful break. Can't recommend the place highly enough.
