This charming, stone-built, semi-detached cottage, built in the 1500s, is perfectly located for year round holidays. There’s a selection of dining options and shops in nearby Valley, 6 miles. Nearby Church Bay, 2½ miles, offers a popular sea food restaurant, and the surrounding area is also popular for the array of water sports and birdwatching opportunities.
Day trips to Ireland depart from the port of Holyhead, a short drive away, whilst the Snowdonia National Park, with its exhilarating range of outdoor pursuits, is easily accessible. Superb walking and an excellent selection of golf courses are close by, along with many family visitor attractions including Copper Kingdom at nearby Amlwch, Sea Zoo, Beaumaris Castle and Plas Newydd (National Trust). Beach 1 mile. Shop 50 yards and restaurant ½ mile.

Cottage is very clean and well maintained-you wouldn’t know dogs regularly stay there. Close to Church Bay and well situated for exploring the island although we never found the nearest beach despite multiple directions! Lots of nice touches like treats for the dog and logs for the fire. We will definitely be back to track down that beach !

A beautiful and charming cottage, very clean, with everything you may need to enjoy a break. All seems to have been thought of in what is there for the occupants, even dog treats. The local shop may be more pricey than a supermarket, but it's local produce on the whole, and very well frequented by the locals, who are very helpful and sociable. I would recommend this cottage to anybody without a moments hesitation.
