Situated in the pretty village of Brompton-on-Swale, Brewery Barn is in an ideal location to explore both the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North Yorkshire Moors and beyond. Brewery Barn is a fabulous light filled space with large windows to enjoy the countryside views across the paddock. With high ceilings and oak beams, the Barn has lots of character. The living space is open plan, with a large well-equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, a dining space for four people and a comfortable lounge with woodburning stove and Smart TV.
Stairs lead off the lounge to the mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed, looking over the living area with exposed beams. Stepping out from the lounge you have an enclosed patio, a perfect spot for the hot tub where you can sit and enjoy the views across the paddock. For cooler evenings light up the firepit and snuggle down. The garden overlooks the paddock, and the gate almost opens onto it, shared with the neighbouring Brewery Retreat, there are picnic benches and plenty of space here to sit and relax or exercise your dog. The paddock leads off to a foot path.
Ever popular with walkers and cyclists, there is beautiful countryside to explore. Enjoy a stroll along the nearby River Swale, or visit nearby the Historic market town of Richmond, gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, 4 miles. Here you can amble around the riverside or visit the famous castle. Cobbled streets lead off from the bustling marketplace and there are an abundance of independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. When eating out there is an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants, and two village inns serving good local produce within walking distance. Well equipped village shop across the road, 1 minute walk away.
Brewery Barn (UK36805) can be booked together with Brewery Cottage (UK36803) to accommodate up to 4 guests.
