The Minginish Peninsula has much to offer with superb walking for all levels, including Talisker Bay, Glenbrittle Beach, Fairy Pools and the Cullin for the experienced climbers. There are local pubs that have regular live music, as well as craft shops, art galleries and the Talisker Distillery, however it is the scenery and the changing light that makes this area so dramatic. Take a trip to Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach, Neist Point Lighthouse or the beautiful Waternish Peninsula, which are all recommended and lie on the west side of the island.
