This traditional Victorian seaside town offers plenty for you to see and do. There is an abundance of restaurants, individual cafés and boutique shops to explore. Take a walk down the promenade and relish in the views looking right over to Morecambe bay. There is also a fantastic golf range close by, a local train station where you an take a train to the village of Arnside just across the estuary.
Further out of Grange, Cartmel is only 2 miles down the road, famous for its horse racing weekends and its sticky toffee pudding. This quirky village is definitely worth a visit and offers two Michelin star restaurants for you to enjoy-be sure to book! Newby Bridge, home to the Lakes Aquarium, Windermere Lake Cruises and the Haverthwaite steam train, is just 7 miles away. Known as the gateway into the lakes, you can easily access many popular towns around Cumbria including Ulverston, Ambleside, Coniston, Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere. Beach ½ mile.
