There are so many walking, hiking and climbing opportunities straight from the door that you could take a different route everyday for weeks without the need to get in a car. If you are looking for a more relaxing holiday it is a 5 minute stroll to the well stocked village shop, Brambles Cafe or Wainwright’s Inn. A slightly further walk will get you to Elterwater and The Langdale spa, or further friendly pubs. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
