If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

  1. A wonderful place to stay. June 2012.
  2. We enjoyed our stay at Erw Goed very much. The owner was welcoming and helpful although I would have appreciated some of her comments and tips on visits being written in a welcome book as I couldn’t remember all that she had said. Fortunately, my daughter remembered things better than me! The cottage was cosy, as in spite of cold and wet weather, the owner put the heating on each night and morning for us, inviting us to light a fire if we needed. June 2012.

Although the location of the cottage is private behind trees it is situated just off Caernarfon and the A487 and you can reach nearly all places of interest in North Wales in about half an hour. The heating is very efficient, all rooms are comfortable and warm within minutes. All rooms are light and well furnished. Oct 2007.

  1. A excellent cottage, very clean, the owners could not be more helpful and friendly. Aug 2011.
  2. Excellent property with superb enclosed garden area which is ideal for children. The friendliness of the owners is exceptional and they could not be more welcoming or helpful. It is a working farm and you are only yards from the barns. You get a positive impression as soon as you arrive as the farm seems so clean for a large livestock farm. We had a 15 month old with us who absolutely loved seeing the owners dogs and the lambs. The owner (who is also the farmer) and their staff took pleasure in showing our toddler the lambs. We would certainly go back there and hopefully next time, we will have some friends so we can book the row of cottages. May 2011.

The property is very remote, the cottage is approached on a moorland road & the last mile or so maybe a 4 x4 would have been more appropriate, but the quiet and peacefullness was lovely, not for everyone though, perhaps location is out of the way for people who want more to do. Roughly 5 miles away from shops pub etc. The owners made my husband & I very welcome, helpful with knowledge of the area, and even gave us maps. The scenery however is breathtaking, our very own mountain right on our doorstep. The wildlife birds etc were exceptional any twitcher would love it! Sept 2009.

  12. The stable cottage was in the most beautiful setting, we were surrounded by rolling hills and had a beautiful view of the sea. We have young children and even though the weather on 2 days wasn’t very good, we still went walking in the hills and went to a secluded waterfall and built dams, it was so much fun we ended up going back on 2 further occasions as the kids loved it so much. The property was also well placed for getting around we were only 7-9 miles from Portmerion and Porthmadog, and only 5 miles from a beautiful beach. The local pub was very child friendly with great meals and a big play area outside. The Cottage for us was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life, you could actually hear yourself think. We would recommend this cottage to all. July 2008.

  2. Our second visit to this property, no change from our previous visit. Remains very peaceful and such a beautiful location set on a working farm, with views out to sea as well as surrounding fields and hills. The owner who also runs the farm welcomed us back and our own border collie made some new friends with the working collies from the farm. Coastal walks a few minutes from the property with a small cove with steps down to reach it, (only for the mildly fit). Local trips available and small seaside villages to welcome you as you explore the coast. May 2012.

  4. The location was fantastic, the cottage was immaculate and they had thought of everything that you would need. The views from the windows in the cottage was really nice, you could see the sea from the living room window and fields as far as the eye could see from the other side of the living room. Really nice walks around the area and only a 15 minute walk to a lovely quiet beach, but you need to climb 164 steps down to it. Aberdaron is only 5 mins in the car with great places to eat and a lovely stretch of beach. The only down side to the holiday were if you ventured out and about and have a dog, they are not allowed on alot of the beaches or harbours. Overall a brilliant holiday and would definitely go back again. Aug 2011.

An unpretentious - looking cottage but the location was perfect-look at the sea, the sky and the sheep, nothing touristy but a decent shop and pub dinner in five minutes drive.   8. The bungalow is located down a quiet country lane and is surrounded by a working farm fields. The views out of the lounge are so beautiful with hills to the side aspect and the sea to the front. If you want to completely get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this place is a must. This is our fourth visit to this property and nothing has changed in the unspoilt area since our last stay 4 years ago. May 2011.
  9. The cottage is situated on a working sheep farm, we saw the owner everday tending to her sheep. Nice for us townies to see. The location is stunning with a lovely beach 1 mile away, 20 minute walk. Wistling sands is well worth a visit, like being in the med. It is worth walking over to the craggs that can be seen out of the living room window, a good walk if youre up to it and you can see Hellsmouth beach when you get there. This was our secong year and we booked for 2 weeks this time. We like the cottage, the area, the peace and the views and Mrs Jones is very friendly without being over friendly. If you are going its well worth taking a camera. Well done Mrs Jones 10 out of 10 for the second year. March 2011.
