  • *1.These terms and conditions should be read with the Booking Conditions and insurance information in our brochures or on our website. Especially note Sections 2, 4 and 7 of the Booking Conditions.
  • 2. Offer applies only to bookings for 2014 which are booked before 31st March 2014.
  • 3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
  • 4. ~“Nothing more to pay until 2014” applies to bookings for arrivals between 13th March and 31st December 2014. Bookings made for arrivals between 1st January and 12th March 2014 will have balance payments due at the end of 2013.
  • 5. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.

The difference between the £25 low deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 10 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

  1. Including a toddler. A cot and stair gates were provided for us. The location is also great for children, with a basic playground around the corner at the recreation ground and one at the beach which is also a stone’s throw away. Just a shame the weather didn’t behave for us! June 2012.

  1. Lovely spacious property with excellent facilities. Quirky interior decoration featured throughout the property. Great kitchen space and superb selection of utensils. However, need to have airers to help dry washed clothes, as line at the back of the house is in adequate for drying, even on very sunny days. Great that this property allows dogs! Aug 2012.

Incredibly spacious with fixtures and fittings of tip top quality and so artistically finished with colourful mosaic and sculpture to catch your eye, the house was an inspiration and without doubt has left some lasting memories for all of the family. The beach at the end of the road was lovely at mid and low tide, totally non-commercial (we found the water dirty on one morning visit but wonderful for every other visit). We enjoyed a simple sun filled holiday and felt as if we had stepped back in time. July 2012.

  1. Nicely appointed property with a few welcome touches. Single room is on the small side - ideal for a young child. Good value for money. Aug 2011.
  2. Small but perfectly formed - Appleyard is well equipped and in a quiet and convenient location. It was well equipped and comfortable - overall we had a lovely holiday. July 2011.
  3. Good location to explore the island and short drive from the ferry. Garlic Farm just up the road and well worth a visit to their coffee shop. Parking could be a little tricky if you have a large car. May 2011.
  4. Appleyard Cottage was in a central location so ideally located for all areas of the island. Very peaceful. The cottage itself was very nice, extremely clean with with everything you would need. Also a nice touch was lots of books, DVDs, videos and lots of children’s toys. All in all I was very impressed and would recommend the cottage - and very reasonably priced. June 2011.

  1. The property is an ideal base for touring the island. We went everywhere by bus and the proximaty to the bus station was great. Oct 2011.
  2. Really lovely old property that has been renovated to a high standard. Centrally located, very near to shops but in a quiet street near a church. Spaciously cosy inside and very ’homey.’ We loved every minute of our stay. Parking a bit tricky but you get the hang of it. Tip - take your own hair dryer. Ten out of ten! July 2011.
  3. The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean, very well furnished & equipped. It was sited in a perfect position for us to use the local buses to visit the island. I would not hesitate to rent the property again or recommend to others. Sept 2010.

  1. As advertised, cosy, very quiet, surrounded by fields. Total relax, owners very nice and friendly, large garden for children or dog, ideal for touring the island, two adults and one child perfect retreat. June 2012.

  3. This Quirky and curious little cottage, well described on the web, met our expectations. Just big enough for 3. Squirrelled away in a very rural location. Ideal for rustic countryside lovers. However, be prepared for scratchy overgrowth on the access track unless your car is compact. The garden exceeded our expectations. Shared with the owners it was large, rambling, wild and fabulous for kids to explore accompanied by their parents. The helpful owners were on-hand for any queries or assistance. Offered their daughters unused garden furniture, my 3 yr old took full advantage. Sept 2011.
  4. The property was as described in the details and perfect for our needs. It isn’t the biggest of properties (but it didn’t claim to be!) but was a wonderful base to tour the island. The owner was incredibly helpful and if you needed anything you just had to ask. A lovely secluded location and the property had its own entrance so it was easy to forget that it is an annexe to the main property. July 2011.
  5. The setting of the cottage was beautiful although the access from the main Cowes/Newport road was tricky. The cottage is an ideal starting point for walks and has a tranquil rural setting and its own patio and garden. The owners are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed their "history of the property" left in the sitting room. April 2011.
  6. Lovely rural situation, ideal for dog owners. The owner very welcoming. Everywhere very clean and well-equipped. Beds comfy, lounge small but adequate. Overall impression very favourable and we will go back again hopefully. April 2011.

Situated well away from the main road in very rural surroundings, and so very quiet, but once on the road within easy reach of shops and restaurants in Cowes and convenient for the rest of the Isle of Wight.
