  2. This was our 3rd visit to Jimbow and we had a wonderful time. Close to the beach for sand castles and only a few miles from Seahouse and Alnwick. We will be back for a 4th visit as soon as we can. April 2012.

The steps up and down from the main door and a rather angled slope up to the gate was a little disconcerting - but negotiable with care and probably not an issue except with older people!! There were some good local beaches at Seaton near Looe, and a lovely cover at Portwinkle. We did go to Bigbury on Sea & Burgh Island, so overall we think this accommodation was great and hospitality very good, especially with the Devon Cream Tea on arrival, which was appreciated greatly after a long journey.   4. It is a good base to explore the Cotswolds, within easy reach of most places of interest. The shops were a short ride away and provided all our needs for the stay. We liked the location and the situation of the cottage. The driveway was all pebbles and was not too easy to negotiate with a walking stick, it would have been even more difficult for a wheel chair. The cottage was well equipped for all our needs. July 2009.

Small private enclosed parking area at the side of the property. Large conservatory where you can relax, sit back and watch the stars on an evening, an amazing sight to see. Quiet village with a post office and another small shop on hand to buy shopping. Tesco and Morrisons nearby in Penzance.   1. Great location, comfortable, clean and cosy cottage. Enough room for two adults and a dog who loved the walks starting from the village. June 2012.
  2. The cottage was lovely, quaint and cosy. Very clean and comfortable. Location was good for all surrounding tourist spots and the village was lovely and friendly. The little shops/Post Office were like in a time warp but added to the feel of the holiday. June 2012.

  4. We visited Copperhill View, Longnor 30 Jan - 3 March. It is set in a high location which we found easily, a good commute into Matlock, Buxton, Bakewell and Leek. The property was comfortable and extremely clean and it was like home from home. Could do with a new tv though as it was very old and on the small side. Would definitely go back. Feb 2012.
  5. Very quaint cottage, extremely well and thoughtfully equipped, unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us while we were there. It snowed! otherwise we might have been able to see more of Longnor, perhaps next time? Dec 2011.

  8. A lovely relaxing cottage situated in a friandly village within good travelling distance to tourist attractions. Great for walking, cycling, site seeing and simply relaxing! Aug 2011.
  9. Cottage was in a great position within a friendly village. We were able to walk from cottage and wander into the village in the evenings for a drink/food. Excellent holiday. March 2011.
  10. The cottage was neat and well equipped (only thing missing was a hairdryer), the location was idyllic and the village was charming. The chip shop was fantastic, we sampled its delights after a 5 mile walk from the book supplied in the cottage. Used the book of walks on 3 occasions during our stay and highly recommend it. Found trips to Bakewell and Buxton exceeded expectation as both were delightful, a must if staying in Longnor. One of the best things about the location was NO mobile phone signal (bliss!!!). March 2011.

  15. The cottage was very quaint and had a really homely feel to it. We would only make one comment and that is to move the table into the front room as we did not eat in the kitchen. It was a bit dark but the front room was lovely and bright. A drop leaf table would easily fit into the room. Sept 2009.
