Selected comment(s) from customers who have enjoyed staying at this property:
  1. The location was very good for sightseeing the Peak District. The views from the front of the house were beautiful. The owners were very helpful. The outside area was restricted and could be much better if it was extended into some of the garden area to be able to sit out and enjoy the magnificent views. June 2012.
  2. Lovely location. Nice walks (and runs) from the accommodation. The cottage was very attractive inside and from outside. There was a freezer but it was in an adjacent building and sounded as though it was not accessible all the time - we avoided using it. Crockery & cutlery were adequate but we found the refrigerator and dishwasher could have had more capacity. April 2012.
  3. Very good needed as there are no footpaths into village. Walks start practically from the cottage Lovely views. March 2011.
  4. Absolutely fantastic. Cannot find fault with any aspect of the cottage. Just a minor detail would be that it isn’t very well signposted at the entrance to the drive off the main road down to the cottage and would be impossible to find initially if you arrive in the dark. Feb 2011.
  5. Perfect location in a beautiful part of the High Peaks area - despite the ice and snow! Accommodation was exactly as described and totally suitable for a family get-together - enjoyed by all. Dec 2010.
  6. Was clean and spacious and had a very homely feel about the place, stunning views over the Goyt valley. Oct 2010.
  7. Great location and lovely large downstairs rooms. Sep 2010.
  8. Nice location, spacious rooms, exactly what we were looking for. July 2010.
  9. Excellent position for exploring the surrounding area. Owners friendly and helpful. June 2010.
  10. The farmhouse is in an idyllic setting just outside the village of Kettleshulme. There are walks direct from the accommodation into the beutiful landscape of the Paek District. The large kitchen was our favourite room, with a huge scrubbed-top table where the six of us sat every night enjoying delicious home cooked food and some good wines! May 2010.
  11. Very good area if you have a dog and only a short walk to the shops. March 2010.
  12. Excellent views of the surrounding countryside and very close to superb gastropub. Sept 2009.
  13. Comfortable and relaxing. Aug 2009.
  14. The owners were very welcoming and helpful during our stay and made us feel at home. They were very knowledgeable about the area and local facilities. March 2009.
  15. The owners were friendly and very helpful, the cottage was comfortable and pretty. Dec 2007.
  16. A very cosy and comfortable cottage with plenty of space. The kitchen was particularly well equipped. April 2007.
  17. Excellent value for the money, with very helpful and informative hosts. March 2006.
  18. A beautiful view from the kitchen window of rolling Dales. April 2006.
  19. The accommodation was everything we could have asked for there was no fault to be found with any aspect of it at all. The owners were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. One of the best holidays we have had with your company. July 2006.
