  7. This property was of very high standard, extremly clean and with all appliances included. The views were breathtaking and the garden was ideal for the children. Just a 5min ddrive from Keswick centre, Threlkeld itself has two good pubs that sell high quality food. A good idea to book tables during high season. The owners of the property were very welcoming and friendly. I will definatley be returning soon. May 2008.
  8. Sunnyside Bungalow more than met all our expectations - it was in the most wonderful position with walking from the door directly onto the fells, and with panoramic views from the windows. It was warm, cosy, with excellent interior decoration - we couldn’t have wished for anything more. The owner was very helpful and made us feel most welcome. March 2008.

    In an elevated position at the foot of Blencathra, this property is in a central location to explore the stunning scenery of the northern lakes and fells, in AONB. A beautifully furnished bungalow, it lies in shared gardens with a private patio area with stunning views. Keswick is 4 miles; at the foot of Blencathra, near St. John’s in the Vale and Skiddaw, walking available from the door. Ullswater is a 20-minute drive. To the west are the lovely beaches at Allonby; to the east Penrith and the Eden Valley make this an excellent holiday base. Shop 4 miles, pubs with food 0.5 miles. Can be booked with property W41431 to accommodate up to 10 guests.
