    Set on a quiet country lane in beautiful walking country overlooking the Bristol Channel, Parsonage Farm is the perfect holiday location to ’get away from it all’. There has been a house here for almost a thousand years and that rich history is still evident within the property. Reputedly, Coleridge wrote ’Kubla Khan’ in Culbone Parsonage, the main house. Parsonage Farm Stables occupies what would once have been the hayloft floor of the adjoining barn. It is ideally located as a base for walking, touring and riding on the crown of Exmoor. Places to visit include Porlock, Lynton and Lynmouth, Watchet Marina and Dunster Castle (NT). The glorious West Somerset and North Devon Coast, Minehead, Exmoor and Lorna Doone Valley are all within easy reach. The highest ’Free House’ pub on Exmoor is just a mile or so away from the house. Picturesque Porlock Weir with its shingle beach is just 3 miles down the hill via a toll road, and local shops can be found in the sleepy village of Porlock.
