  1. Absolutely love this cottage and area. This was our second visit and was equally as good as our first. The cottage is so comfortable, it’s a real home from home. Will definitely be back! Sept 2012.
  2. Very cosy property, well furnished, decorated and equipped. Located in the village where David Llloyd George was brought up and buried. The cottage is next to a lovely little pub called "The Feathers " where you can meet the friendly locals. Good food as well. There are many lovely walks in the area. Try the one along the river and the walk via the beach to Criccieth, a most attractive village with interesting shops and cafes. A large number of attractions in close proximity. I would visit this cottage again. June 2012.
  3. Bodfan provides a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Lleyn Peninsula and Snowdonia. The nearby towns of Criccieth and Porthmadog, which have a good range of shops, give access to some spectacular railway journeys. The catering facilities at the cottage are good but ’The Feathers’ next door provides very good evening meals (Tuesday to Saturday) if you want a rest from cooking and there are good restaurants in Criccieth. May 2012.
  4. Perfect, friendly quiet location. It was our first time renting a cottage but will not be our last, any future let’s will have a lot to live up to, as Bodfan was perfect in every way and the pub next-door was very friendly and served great food. Nice setting for walks and for Criccieth which is what we wanted couldn’t of asked for more. April 2012.
  5. A delightful cottage for up to 4 people, located in an attractive village. Comfortable and tastefully refurbished. A great pub 30 seconds away. Recommended! March 2012.
  6. The cottage really comfortable and fully equipped in every way very tastefully decorated. Good location for all the walking. Weather a little cold but we could come home to a lovely log burner our dog slept in front of it very evening. Thank you for a great holiday. March 2012.
  7. Very nice cottage. Quiet location but very good for lots of areas you would want to visit. Good walks from the cottage inland and down to the coast. Pub is very close but don’t expect to join in any conversations... only Welsh spoken. Landlord and landlady very friendly though. Feb 2012.
  8. An excellent well equipped holiday home from home. Didnt want for anything. Thank you for a lovely holiday. July 2011.
  9. The cottage was spotless, cosy and warm. The kitchen was very well equipped and we needed for nothing. The two good sized bedrooms had more than ample hanging and storage space and the bed was very comfortable. I simply loved this cottage it was a home from home but without the clutter. May 2011.
  10. We really enjoyed our stay it was our first visit to Wales. The cottage was a real pleasure to return to each day it was a home from home so well equipped. May 2011.
  11. Absolutely loved this cottage and location. The cottage is just so comfortable, if I could have picked it up and taken it home, I would have!!! Llanystumdwy is a lovely little village and the locals are so friendly. I’ll definitely have another visit. March 2011.
  12. The cottage was beautifully decorated and felt like a true home from home - cosy, well-equipped, and very tastefully furnished with attention to detail that made the house a home. Nov 2010.
  13. Simplistic but modern decor. Plenty of space. Thoroughly enjoyed the log burning stove. Oct 2010.
  14. It felt like ’home from home’. Some other holiday accommodation is just that, with no home comforts. In Bodfan, we felt like the owners had popped out and we’d moved in! Homely touches everywhere, absolutely couldn’t fault it. Definately be booking again. Oct 2010.
  15. The cottage was beautiful. Sympathetically furnished, very well equipped in all rooms. The bedrooms were clean, bright and comfy. The lounge was wonderfully cosy with the woodburner. Home from home (only tidier)! Oct 2010.
  16. Attractive, clean, real fire, interesting village, nice pub next door. Aug 2010.
  17. Well equipped to and all fittings to a good standard. July 2010.
